Now in his second year as Solar Fest's featured artist, Pat Woodall continues to astound us with his oil work. This year's feature painting, "La Fiesta del Solsticia" is a vibrant portrayal of a great festival on the longest day of the year, summer Solstice. The interplay betweeen light and shadow, juxtaposition of adobe walls and mountainside rock, and the similarities between the curves of people and of guitar evoke in us the enchantment of a Taos summer.
